Francesco was an amazing guide on what we made into a very long day with time limitations. Meeting at the cruise doors as we come out is an amazing extra that we appreciated. The NCL Breakaway had an overnight stay so we hit the ground running early and the drive to Pisa was busy due to a local train strike and we had a great view early in the morning of the backside of Pisa for perfect photo-ops. We continued to Florence and when faced with more traffic, everything was handled like a pro. We had great directions and maps to get to the Uffizi and how to get around and how to meet up again. We really appreciated the stories, the great English explanations and the van was nice. We did have to leave Florence by 2:00pm to get to Michelangelo’s Square and back to port but he kept everything moving and got us back with plenty of time. Thank you

Cinque Terre was amazing! Our cruise ship came into Livorno earlier than expected and the company reached out to us to adjust times so that our day would not be so late in the day and to beat crowds and we were very appreciative. We were met right on time, our driver made driving a 12 passenger van look easy on roads that I would never want to attempt. Our guide (she was great!) made the day roll smoothly from town to town- we loved Vernazza but honestly the boat rides between all of them were easy and so beautiful. Our return trip was right on time and delivery to our cruise ship embarking doors made the end of the day when we were tired feel like a million dollar ride! This company was so responsive when we had to move times, add people, answering questions about swimming or other things, we loved working with them and would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of enjoying this tour from our cruise stop in Livorno and it was the highlight of our 15 day journey throughout Italy. By far, our favorite day! As others have detailed, our guide was Massimo and he was fantastic. From his knowledge, passion of the area, friendly nature, he was top notch and the day from San Gimignano, followed by 2 wineries in the Chianti region were amazing. The area is just beautiful and our favorite top was the 1st winery Casa di monte where we were treated to a friendly tour, a special authentic, homemade “light” lunch prepared by Nonna and delicious wine tasting. We wish we could have stayed all day. We left the tour feeling like we had made a new friend and hope to find Massimo again as that area is definitely an area to return to some day. Grazie!

We booked the Private Chianti and Supertuscan Wine tour from Montecatini and the day was perfect. Massimo was tremendous and quite informative and made it like we were just out for a days drive. The 2 wineries visited were different from each other but were both well worth the visit including the tasting and the food. We did ship some bottles home and they arrived timely and safe. Great reminder.
Having said that we would definitely recommend this tour and this company if you are looking for guided tours while in Tuscany.
