We have access to most of the places and we can pick you up almost everywhere. However, in case of very narrow streets that make our access not possible, we will agree on the closest meeting point. The price can vary according to the exact departure location. From your hotel (if possible), you will meet our staff and get on our comfortable minivan. According to many people, San Gimignano is one of the most charming medieval villages in Tuscany. It is located on a hill in the heart of the Tuscan Region, deep in the beautiful countryside. During the Middle Ages, it became a powerful trading centre. Indeed, the several towers built in the village were synonim of wealth. Today 14 old towers still stand in the village. For its medieval skyline, San Gimignano is considered the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. In addition, the town was located on the old pilgrim route calld via Francigena. Many people walked this path from Canterbury (England) to reach Rome and Jerusalem. Today San Gimignano is still rich in history. In this village you will feel like travelling back to the past.

The Historic Town of San Gimignano is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Itinerary of our Bella Toscana – Private Chianti and San Gimignano:

Departure From Your Accommodation/Hotel

9:15 am – Pick up (suggested time, to be confirmed according to our departing location) – We start our Bella Toscana – Private Chianti Wine and San Gimignano with Light Lunch. To reach the Chianti area, we will drive through the suggestive countryside in Tuscany. On our way to the first winery, you will hear about the first Italian wine regulation.

First Winery in Chianti

10:15 am – We get to the first winery, deep in the Tuscan countryside, with vineyars and olive trees. Here, an expert will welcome you and introduce you to the wine-making process. In this property, family generations worked with passion. You will enjoy a nice tasting with four different wines. Then we will move to the next winery.

Second Winery in Chianti

12:30 pm – We will visit a second winery. always surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan hills in a lovely Villa. Firstly you will learn about the difference between Chianti Classico and Supertuscan wines. Surely, you will become a wine expert yourself. You will discover the wine production here, that follows both traditional and new trends. Afterwards, you will taste four different red wines. The wine will be combined to local food. Indeed, you will enjoy a Tuscan Light Lunch. Taste local Pecorino cheese (Sheep Cheese), ham, salami and typical bruschetta with extra virgin Olive Oil and fresh tomatoes. You will also taste some great Balsamic vinegar.

Visit San Gimignano

3:00 pm – Visit the ancient Village of San Gimignano.

Return to Your Accommodation / Hotel

5:00 pm – In conclusion, we will drop you off at your Hotel. Please consider this is only a recommended time-table. We can personalize thhe schedule according to your needs.
