Someone from our staff will be waiting for you just outside the Cruise Terminal after your ship’s arrival. He/she will hold a sign with your name written on it. Our first stop will be in Pisa, a city full of art and history. We will bring you to the most important square, that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have time to admire the famous Leaning Tower and the other beautiful buildings belonging to the architectural complex in Piazza dei Miracoli.

After visiting the Field of Miracles (officially Piazza del Duomo), you will pass through Piazza Dei Cavalieri, where you can admire a stunning facade designed by Giorgio Vasari. Today many students move to Pisa because of its academic importance. The most popular university is “La Normale”, founded by Napoleon. In addition, you will see the Lungarno. This is the way the locals call the streets along the Arno river, full of elegant palaces and nice shops. You can enjoy your time eating one of the most delicious ice cream (gelato) of the district.
From Pisa to a traditional Pasta making factory on our Shore Excursion from La Spezia

On our day tour, you will have the possibility to visit a traditional pasta factory, the Pastificio Martelli. Martelli is the name of the family running the business since 1926. It is a small-medium factory located in the medieval village of Lari (in the county of Pisa). You will also time to walk around and see the old castle.
PS: Since teh Pastificio Martelli is a real pasta factory and not just a place for tourists, we inform you it is not possible to visit it on holidays and Sundays. The property will be closed on those days.
