This One Day Trip from Pisa to Cinque Terre in a Small Group from Pisa is absolutely a fantastic way to explore the most charming side of the Ligurian Coast, well known for its villages facing the sea.
During this Small Group Tour to Cinque Terre from Pisa, your Tour Leader will assist you, giving you information and suggestions. Driving along the coast, you will reach the first village, from where the tour will start, walking down the main road, characterized by its typical house towers.
Ferry Boat Experience to Visit Cinque Terre
By ferry-boat (or train, depending on the weather) you will spend a lovely time admiring the coast with a view on the villages of Riomaggiore and Manarola while reaching Vernazza.
Vernazza is a typical Fisherman village, also known for its fortress and its Church. Walking through the narrow streets in the old town, you can visit local shops and buy typical products of this area (like pesto sauce, limoncino, honey and wine). Climbing up the narrow steps you can also reach the Doria‘s castle, from where you will have a breath taking view on the coast and on Monterosso, the last village of the Cinque Terre National Park.
Monterosso Village
Monterosso is the largest village in the Park and a promontory divides it into two smaller bays. We will reach Monterosso by ferryboat (or train) and get to its harbor that is located next to the historical centre, full of shops, coffee bars and restaurants. On the other side of the promontory, you will be able to admire the beautiful promenade along the beach leading to “The Giant”, a statue representing Neptune.
In Monterosso you will have free time to relax, enjoy the view and the beach, explore the village and swim. Remember that Monterosso has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (according to Forbes 2006).

I made this tour with my family the last agust, when we went in Italy for a weekend. We booked the day before, when we arrived in italy. The next morning they came to our hotel in Pisa wiht a comfortable minivan and drive us to Cinque Terre. Those villages are really beautiful to see. I suggest to everyone goes in Tuscany for an holiday, to keep a day to visit Cinque Terre.
We were really satisfied of the tour guide. We rate the service 5 stars.
How much walking on this tour? Steep hills or many stairs?

tour is scheduled in order to walk as less is possible or for best, is scheduled you can decide by yourself how many walk. You will arrive in each village by ferry-boat ot train and from each village you will be leaded, you will hame free time you can spend in walk around, or stop for some picture, or again, take a coffe
I saw Rick Steves video and they walked from village to village. How would we get from village to village? Walk, train, ferry?

I cannot recommend this tour enough. What a fantastic day my daughters and I had, thanks to our fabulous guide Luigi and our driver Mauro. We had a very comfortable drive from Pisa to Manarola where the tour of Cinqueterre began. Stunning little villages, breathtaking scenery and incredible food. This is a day we will remember for a long time.
Our guide Emily was amazing, very considerate, friendly and spoke good English.
I would not go again though because it was like a mincer, people everywhere, going everywhere and there were not enough facilties to accommodate everyone, and this made the visit very impersonal and stressful.
Emili was an energetic and informative guide. We learned about each town and was able
to visit what we could given the time that we were allotted. I loved being able to get on and
off the boats and not have to hassle with tickets as Luigi took care of that for us.
This was a great tour to get a taste of the best sites in multiple cities in Cinque Terre. We had enough time to take some great pictures and do a little shopping. Time was limited in each town, but if you just have one day, this tour will work for you.
This was an excellent tour to have a view of Cinque Terre. We felt like we had the opportunity to see what was possible. We were not rushed, and Costanza gave us excellent advice and recommendations for each port, from places to see to where the best food could be found to the best gelato shops and flavors to try. Alessandro drove wonderfully and safely, and allowed us photo opportunities.

Our guide Elena was spectacular! We felt so taken care of so we could relax and enjoy this glorious location. He led us so well with excellent instructions and also gave us free time to do our own thing. A must for this area which would have been difficult to navigate on our own. Nice small group.

Cinque Terre was everything I was hoping it would be, except for the crowds and tourist atmosphere. Luigi and Alessandro were terrific! The tour was designed to give us maximum time to look around on our own with just enough structure to make sure we were aware of the highlights. The logistics of seeing Cinque Terre are quite challenging. Luigi and Alessandro made it look and feel quite easy. Fortunately, there were no cruise ships visiting via La Spezia on our day. I can’t imagine how anyone could enjoy C.T. on a cruise day.
We had such an amazing time! Laura and Simona were fantastic guides, friendly and our group ended up friending each other on social media to keep up with each other 🙂 the tour gave great highlights of each city, with Laura providing hidden gems and knowledge the entire time. A must do tour, we will be back!
I am so happy i booked this tour, it was absolutely perfect. It was well organised, our guide Elena was professional, knowledgeable and so so friendly. We had Yuri as our driver and he was just as fabulous. There was only 4 of us in the group. We spent just the right amount of time at each village and we had longer in the last village for lunch. Lunch was superb and recommended by Elena.
What a fantastic trip! We were lucky enough to be able to use the ferries to access one village to another rather than having to use the train. Luigi our guide was extremely informative and friendly. A very pleasurable trip!

It was a wonderful day and I will remember it for the rest of my life. We really got to experience the Cinque Terre in a way we could not have done on our own. Wow!! What a beautiful day. Lovely driver and guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The food and wine in the restaurant by the beach was superb. We were able to decide which village’s to visit and for how long. Had a well needed swim in the sea, tried the local limoncino and looked around the local shops. Would recommend this trip.

Tour was very comprehensive and showed you around 3 of the 5 villages/town with a ferry boat ride in between and included a walk through all 3, the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable would highly recommend.
Unfortunately rain spoiled our day which can’t be helped. Driver Emilia was great! Our tour leader was terrific knowledgeable, good advice, helpful and good to chat to. Beautiful area quaint villages
Great time, guide did a great job, pity it rained the first half of day and we had to catch trains instead of the ferry
Het was fijn dat je met de bus gebracht werd en begeleidt werd met de trein. Maar het is wel prijzig. Het is in principe geen begeleide tour; de tourgids brengt je van A naar B geeft je eenn paar tips en dan wordt je voor een uur vrijgelaten. De laatste plek krijg je 3 uur voordat de bus je terugbrengt naar Pisa. Het is fijn als je zelf geen gedoe wilt met vervoer maar verder is het aan jezelf. Dus de prijs voor enkel vervoer vind ik dan wel weer aan de hoge kant.
Everything went well, perhaps a little more time in the first 3 villages and less in final one would have been a slight improvement, villages are very beautiful even on a wet day😊
The villages of the Cinque Terre we visited were amazing. Our guide Laura was perfect – she gave us enough information and space to explore the villages in our own way. We were always well supported. The good, the villages and the whole experience was perfect.

It was a fabulous day at Cinque Terre! Started off cloudy but the sun wasn’t far behind. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information with us. We had visited Cinque Terre once before and were able to use the small ferry to get between some of the villages but unfortunately the Ferries were closed the day we visited because of rough waters, so it took a bit away from it. This tour was as good as the previous one that we went on for less than half of the cost. Highly recommend this tour!
This is a good trip to take if you want a general overview of Cinque Terre. The area is very beautiful.But you don’t get to spend an awful lot in each village.
Luigi the guide was superb. Just the right amount of information and great recommendations on where to eat and what to try. Mario was also an excellent driver. Overall a really good trip.

Each place got better as we went up the coast. Also the prices of all things were lower as
went up the coast.
Laura, our tour guide, was beyond fantastic and although weather was challenging she
make the whole day fun, interesting and very enjoyable. I totally recommend her tour! She
was so attentive to all details and our needs.
Ahh this is one of the best tours I’ve ever done! Bucket list trip for me and I couldn’t have hoped for a better guide than Uesula. He gave us recommendations for food to try at each stop. We had enough time to explore each place, with longer at the last place and he made a lunch reservation for those that wanted it. A really great day and I would recommend it to anyone.
