The Half-Day Wine Tasting Tour in the Tuscan Hills is one of our most popular tours. We will reach an exclusive winery in the countryside, and the owner, or a qualified guide, will introduce you to the winery, revealing you all the secrets about Italian wine making in this area.
The expert will share with you his/her passion for the so-called biodynamic agriculture: a way of producing wine and extra-virgin olive oil following the old traditions. This approach to agriculture respects the environment and focuses more on quality rather than quantity.
In some periods of the year (especially in summer and weather permitting), you can visit the vineyards and learn more about the grapes growing on the vines.
The Cantina: Your Wine Tasting Experience Inside a Tuscan Cellar
Before the wine tasting you will be able to visit the “cantina” (the cellar) and learn more about the wine aging process. You will then enjoy a selection of both red and white wines, accompanied by appetizers together with a taste of Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
After the tasting, we will return to Pisa, passing through the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

From the moment Adriano our tour guide arrived in his ultra comfortable, air-conditioned people mover, I knew we were in for a treat. Overflowing with knowledge and enthusiasm, the hour’s drive to the sublime vineyard in the Chianti region flew by. What followed was an indepth, fascinating tour that included a generous wine tasting and a visit to the winery and vineyards. Stunning scenery, well organised and great value. I booked a last minute tour for Chianti wine tour and I recommend this. Adriano was very informative about the wines and Maria was a great in the winery place. One of the best experiences you can do in Italy I would say.

We were running a few minutes late and they waited for us. The driver was so nice and informative. The food and wine was amazing, like seriously the food was to die for. It was such a fun day with gorgeous views! 10/10 totally recommend.. I went on a day that only cost me 79 bucks and it was more than worth it! Such a deal!
We had such a wonderful day doing the Half Day wine tour In the Tuscan hills from Pisa with the most amazing guide Massimo. He had such knowledge about the region, wines, food and Pisa. He also took us to a tinty beautiful town to end the day after the wine tasting. The winery itself was also spectacular and the staff at the vineyard were super friendly. What a great experience.

This tour was wonderful! I highly recommend if you want a chill, relaxing tour that avoids all touristy areas. We started the day at Monte Carlo, a charming little town on top of the hill – so peaceful compared to the busyness in Pisa and Firenze. We visited one winery that was also very peaceful; we learned about the wine process and had time to explore. This was the perfect amount of time to get out of the city, taste some great wine with a small group, and learn about the area’s history. Emilia, our tour guide, was wonderful. She was kind, funny, a safe driver, and very informative. She ensured we were not rushed, and gave us plenty of time on our own. We enjoyed spending the morning with her. BellaItalia is also very quick to respond to any questions, and is very organized.
