From the Port of Livorno directly to Cinque Terre in Liguria
Our tour leader will wait you just outside your cruise (we have pass to reach the cruises inside the port) with our comfortable minivan, ready to start your Day Trip. After 1 hour and 30 minutes you will arrive at the first village in the National Park of Cinque Terre, Manarola or Riomaggiore (weather permitting).
During all day our tour guide will assist you, giving informations and suggestions, leading you village by village in the ancient life of Ligurian Riviera.
We will move by boat (if the weather permits), or by train, to reach the following villages:
- Riomaggiore: characterized by its typical housetowers
- Manarola: the oldest villages of the Cinque Terre. Explore the narrow alleys and pretty pastel squares that epitomize the beauty of the area
- Vernazza: a typical fishermen village, beautiful for its fortress, bahia and Church. Walking through the narrow downtown you can visit local shop where you can find the typical products of this land (authentic ligurian pesto sauce, limoncino, honey, extra virgin olive oil and wine)

Climbing up the narrow steps you can also reach the Doria‘s castle, from where you will have a breaking view on the sea coast, looking at Monterosso, the last village of Cinque Terre National park.
Monterosso is the largest village in Cinque Terre, separeted in two sides by a promentory.
By boat we will reach its harbour, in front of the historical centre, full of shops, coffee bar and restaurants. In Monterosso you will have time to relax, enjoy, do some shopping, explore the picturesque streets and squares, and also you can swim in this beautiful sea.

Pisa and its Leaning Tower: one of the most famous city in Italy
After the visit in Cinque Terre, we will drive you to the university town of Pisa, where you will have a brief stop in the Field of Miracles (Campo dei Miracoli) to admire the famous Leaning Tower.
The famous Bell Tower leans about 16 feet out of perpendicular. Efforts to stabilize the building are made constantly together with a continued monitoring process of the structure.
Also you will visit the Duomo’s Square of Pisa, Piazza dei Miracoli with his Baptistery and the Cathedral. Then we will pass through Piazza Dei Cavalieri, which has a stunning facade designed by Giorgio Vasari.

So much to see! Ursula and Roberto gave us the royal treatment and allowed us to
experience the charm of three villages in Cinque Terre. And we topped it off with the
obligatory visit to Pisa, which did not disappoint! Definitely the way to see the region!
Our guide Luigi and driver Roberto made sure we quickly were able to visit everything on the
itinerary and tell us about many important points along the way.
This was a private family tour (kids aged 13 and 8). It was expensive, but it was totally worth it. Simona was our driver, and Laura was our tour guide. Both were fabulous. Simona gave us a lot of info on our long drive there, and she gave us time to rest on the long drive back. We paid extra to have a tour leader, and it was great to have more info and directions on what to do in the different cities. We also wanted the classic Pisa pictures, so Simona gave us suggestions on where to take the photos. We paid a lot for this to be private, which was also great to personalize it for our family’s needs. Highly recommend this tour company!
Best day of our trip! Stefano was an excellent driver! We were able to see and do everything
and did not feel rushed. We visiting 3 towns in the 5T, swam and a beach club in
Monterossa and ate lunch. We also got to see Pisa on the way back to our ship.
Our group of 8 had the most wonderful tour of Cinque Terre and Pisa with our driver, Iuri, and local guide for Cinque Terre, Romina! From the minute we were picked up at our cruise terminal by Iuri, in a large and comfortable air-conditioned mini-bus, Iuri drove us to Cinque Terre, whilst giving us the history of the region and a deeper dive into the culture of this area of Italy.
We arrived refreshed in Cinque Terre and met Romina, who escorted through a ferry ride and stops at three of the villages. She gave us some history and tips on unique places to see and food to eat in each place, which were all very special and on target!!
After a lovely few hours and lunch we got back in the same vehicle with Iuri, who had cold waters waiting for us 🙂 and he took us to Pisa, with a skip the line experience in the old city! As parking is non-existent and the crowds were large, we were so thankful that Iuri was able to do this for us! Pisa exceeded all of our expectations, and we had plenty of time to explore, as Iuri was following our lead. Then it was a drive up the Arno and the scenic route back to the ship.
A perfect day thanks to the duo of Iuri and Romina ! We ALL highly recommend taking their guided tour of Cinque Terre and Pisa if you are in Italy. You won’t be disappointed!
We just returned home from our 2 week vacation. I just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had with Luigi on our private tour of Cinque Terre from Livorno! Our party of 12 had and amazing time. This was an absolutely incredible and unforgettable day. Luigi and “Mario” were fantastic. So
knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of my 72 yo mother in law. I could not
recommend them more highly.
Our trip began with Iuri picking us up in a private air conditioned van at the cruise port in Livorno. Iuri was very friendly and very knowledgeable about his surroundings and answered all of our questions during the very picturesque drive from Livorno to Cinque Terre National Park. Our first stop was Riomaggiore. Here Iuri introduced us to Laura, our tour guide for next few hours in Cinque Terre. Riomaggiore is a beautifully colorful little town in which Laura guided us to the best shops, places to grab a bite to eat and best picture spots for us to take pictures. She never hesitated to take a picture of all of us. She informed us of the history, culture and dishes that makes each town special. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and was very patient and kind with us. Laura not only was a great tour guide but she quickly became very good friends with us as well. We didn’t feel as if we were on a “guided” tour, but felt that we were actually on vacation with a friend. Laura stayed with us throughout the tour where she took us on a ferry ride into the next town of Vernazza and then my favorite, Monterosso where we ate and drank the local wine that we purchased at a local shop which, of course, was recommended by Laura. The owner was very kind and was very happy to see Laura and advised us on which was the best wine to taste. All in all our tour to Cinque Terre was very beautiful, fund a a great success which was made possible by the best drive, Iuri and most of all by Laura. I would highly recommend this tour especially if your tour guide is Laura.
Our trip was amazing! Our driver Amelia was beyond fabulous, she made us feel at home
and very comfortable. Our tour guide Romina was also wonderful showing us different spot
in Cinque Terre. This trip is a must do!
This day trip was the highlight of our visit to Italy. Massimo was an incredible tour guide on the travel to/from the site as well as a quick visit to Pisa. Laura was amazing while we were in Cinque Terra and both were incredibly professional and engaging. They were also very flexible and accommodating with our family of 8 (adults, seniors, teens, toddlers) and their passion for their jobs and their home was evident. 6 stars out of 5
Fantastic tour- great way to see all of the villages. The weather was nice so we were able to
travel between the villages by ferry. Our guide ( Elana) and driver ( Amelia) were great, very

Our tour guide Elena was waiting for us at the port right when we got off our ship and was absolutely lovely all day! She chatted with us and showed us many interesting things on the drive to Cinque Terre. She was incredibly helpful with everything we needed, suggested many amazing things for us to try, booked all of our train/ferry tickets, and helped us get a spot at a restaurant. The towns were beautiful and even though it was a bit rainy we had the best day just exploring each one. On the way back to the ship the driver Leonardo, who was also great, stopped at Pisa and we got to see the plaza and leaning tower. We had a very busy few days on our Mediterranean cruise, and this was for sure one of our favorites! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to spend time in Cinque Terre and also visit Pisa!

This tour was amazing. The ride with Simona was comfortable. She is very funny and an excellent driver. We made our way to 3 of the 5 villages with ferry rides and lots of time to visit and walk around with good tips where to eat and do. Would recommend 100 percent. We were a group of 6.

Adriano was an excellent driver of a new immaculate comfortable van and went out of his way to help us by waiting for us to disembark from cruise ship & deliver us to our hotel. We are 2 people wanting to book this tour “Cinque Terre and leaning tower of Pisa” from Livorno cruise port the 24th of April 2024. Does anyone want to join us (max total of 8 people per group) so that the price per person will be cheaper?
We were on the Norwegian Epic & stopped in Livorno.
We were a group of 14, ranging in age from 16 to 80. Emilia & Luigi were our private guides for the day. We had two comfortable minivans. We first went to Pisa to see the tower, and then went to Cinque Terre. It was amazing – well-organized & fun. Emilia handled 5 teenagers with ease!
The drivers were great as well. I loved being able to customize it to exactly what we wanted, with their input. The office staff was great as well. We really enjoyed our tour.

Great guide and great driver. The guide made it so easy to avoid the crowds and be in the right place when docking and loading.
Things could not have been smoother. We were greeted at the Port and then taken directly to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We were the first people up the Tower with no crowd. Things were very different when we got down. From there we were off to Cinque Terra and visited 3 different towns. We started in Monterrosso, went to Vernazza and had an incredible lunch and ended in in RioMaggiore. The water taxis were great and our guide was fantastic. The cost of our excursion was far less than those offered on the Disney Cruise and we saw so much more than any of the cruise tours it was not even a fair comparison. This is absolutely the company to go with.
We stopped at Livorno during our cruise and booked a small group excursion to the Cinque Terre.
There were 6 of us and we went in a van with a driver and guide. The van was very comfortable for 6 adults and Luca was an excellent guide who is very knowledgeable about the area.
We saw three towns and went to Pisa on the way back to the ship.
We went to lunch in a restaurant recommended by Luca and it was a delicious meal in a beautiful setting overlooking the water. The pesto was really good and so was the spaghetti with seafood.
We stopped in Pisa on the way back and took some pictures of the leaning tower.
Luca was aware of the time the ship was leaving and got us back in plenty of time. Throughout the drive he described the areas that we were driving through.

We did this tour with Stefano as our tour guide. He was absolutely phenomenal: efficient with his driving, kind, always willing to answer our questions (in French on top of it) and explained everything in detail. We did 3 of the 5 Terres, then had 1hr30 in Pisa, and had plenty of time to get back on the ship. This was my favorite cruise tour ever and would do it again in a heartbeat.
We had a great tour we Rosella and Stefano to Cinque Terre from Livono. Stefano picked my group of 8 up promptly at the Livorno cruise terminal and drove us to Rio Maggiore where we met up with Rossella. Rio Maggiore is the first of the 5 lands. we then traveled by boat to 3 other lands (can’t do Corniglia by boat). We had ample time in each village. We ended with an excellent lunch in Monterossa before Stefano took us back to our ship. We glitches or hiccups. Beautiful day. Highly recommend Bellaitalia Tours.
4 of us chose this tour as the only way to travel while touring. We were picked up at the port by Stefano who was friendly and informative as he drove us to meet Marta, our guide for the day trip to Cinque Terra. We traveled in comfort with lots of sightseeing on the way. We were dropped off in one very scenic village and traveled with Marta by boat to 4 of the 5 equally scenic villages. Marta was fantastic and felt more like one of us than a guide as she was friendly and helpful at all times. Stefano picked us up at the last village for the ride back to the ship.
It’s a 9-ish hour tour and was perfect for us. Marta made sure it was not too strenuous for our friend with knee issues. Since it was just the 4 of us, we did not have to wait for an entire bus full of people at each stop. This is the way to travel! No more ship tours for us and we will look for Bellaitalia for any future excursions. Thanks for a great day!
Luca was very pleasant and nice but did not know how to adapt for the group. The kids wanted to spend more time at our first stop in Riogamorre and he kept pushing us to move on. In the end we had excess time in the last stop that was too much.
