What is a Supertuscan Wine?
Super Tuscan wine is an expression used for identifying the small productions of wines from the 60’s. It was an unofficial categorization to describe a wine produced combining local grapes with uncommon blends in Tuscany, like Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination gave birth to excellent wine tastes.
The small production today makes these wines quite expensive and difficult to export. Therefore, tasting them in local wineries, maybe with us, is the best choice.
