Departure from Montecatini Terme directly to the Chianti Region
Our minivan will wait for you in front of the taxi sign. We will then drive to the Chianti Region. Our small groups are limited to a maximum number of people, 8 by minivan and 15 by minibus, so to ensure the best out of your holidays in Tuscany.
The Chianti Region and its wine
Our Chianti Lovers Tour from Montecatini will allow you to spend a lovely day in the Tuscan countryside. You will learn more about the Chianti region and about the traditional winemaking process. You will be introduced to the Italian Wine regulation system and know more about the different wine qualities. At the end of our tour you will be a real expert and you will know the differences between DOCG, DOC and IGT wines.
The Chianti Region is divided into 8 districts. We consider the Chianti Classico region to be the father of all of them. This area is
located between Florence and Siena.

Discover Supertuscan Wine
The definition of Super Tuscan wine was born as an unofficial wine categorization, but today it is covered by the appellation of IGT wines. This variety used to be produced in small quantities and for this reason it is not often exported abroad. Supertuscan is a combination of local grape varieties (Sangiovese) with uncommon blends in Tuscany, like Merlot or Cabernet. You will find out more about this wine during our tour.
