Day 1 – Tour of Florence and Visit of the Uffizi or Accademia Museums
We think that you should dedicate the first day to the visit of the Italian Craddle of the Renaissance, Florence. The regional capital of Tuscany is right in the heart of the region at about 70 km from Pisa, 60 km from Lucca, 85 km from Livorno.

In the heart of Tuscany you find two historical gems that are worth a visit: San Gimignano and Volterra. Locals refer to San Gimignano as the Manhattan of the Middle Ages.
