San Gimignano: Stop in the Medieval Village considered the most beautiful in Tuscany

Today San Gimignano is an ancient Village on the top of hill considered one of the most beautifull village in Tuscany. Called "the Manatthan of Middle Ages" for the big numbers of Towers which in the past have been built (there were 72 towers), just now counts 14 towers maintained in perfect state. Departure From Your Cruise in Livorno Port

9:30 am Pick up (we are able to pick you up just outside your Cruise) - We start our Tuscany Life Wine and Food tour and we move in direction of the Chianti Classico area between Florence and Siena, where you will hear about the first clarification on Italian wine regulation with its Docg, Doc, Igt wines.

First Winery in Chianti Classico

11:00am - Once we arrive at the first winery you will understand the beautiful of this area, vineyards and vineyards, thousands of olives trees. You will learn about the wine-making process, the old generation which is working at the winery. Brothers and Parents work togheter and you will feel all the passion and the love which the family put in their products when you will taste the 4 wines. Then we will move in the next winery.

Second Winery in Chianti Classico

12:40pm - Visit and learn about the wine making process inside the beautiful Villa which is up on the hills. You will learn about the difference between Chianti Classico and SuperTuscan wine, will see all the wine-making process included the old tradition way and the new trend. Then, a range of 4 differents red wines served with loca lfood as typical Pecorino cheese (Sheep Cheese) ham and salami with bruschetta (Extravirgin Olive Oli in bread and salt), bread with tomatos and extravirgin Olive Oil. Try the great Balsamic vineygard as well

Visit San Gimignano

3 pm Visit the ancient Village of San Gimignano. Learn about the family has generated this farmer and then year by year increase the business until to be now a medium company which will be also your set for eatmsomething. Taste with different wines while paired delicious local products and Light Lunch. There will be extra virgin olive oil taste and very great Balsamic vineygard as well
